Introduction
The Deal Maker will be responsible for proactively seeking innovative ways to meet sales targets by increasing new business production, non-interest revenue and market share. The Deal Maker will be responsible for building and maintain strong relationships with a focus on providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Job description

Role Outputs:
  • Acquires new business and drives the achievement of meeting targets at allocated dealers by negotiating and managing deals to increase market share
  • Validates deals and ensures that documentation being submitted complies with relevant legislative requirements, organisational governance processes and is submitted timeously
  • Achieves agreed value-added products, conversion rate, fixed and linked rates ratio and maximizes opportunities to generate additional income to maximize profits
  • Increases knowledge and understanding of financial processes and adheres to required operating, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Interacts with Finance & Insurance Marketers to secure deals and ensures that the dealers are informed of all products and policies whilst treating the customer fairly
  • Resolves customer dissatisfaction and/or complaints by taking ownership of the problem and maintaining clear communication lines to ensure dispute is resolved professionally
  • Ensures that product knowledge and advice is technically accurate and in line with current regulatory framework and participates in informal and formal knowledge sharing sessions
  • Contributes to team success and can work with a dynamic and driven team to ensure team commitment and cohesion
  • Identifies effective activities to address own development gaps

Minimum requirements

Experience:
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience within the Financial Services and/or motor industry.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience working on SPIF/CORE and BI Portal
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience within a customer service environment


Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 / Matric Qualification
  • Diploma in Business Management or Marketing (Preferable)
