Introduction
To Manage Regional and Area Sales, in line with Business targets and operational strategy.
Job description

Provides input into the budgeting process and monitors utilisation for the financial year according to operational plan.
Allocates and approves expenditure for business area.
Creates accurate financial reports, ensures accurate record keeping, and enables smooth internal and external audits.
Adheres to Organisation's shared values and service standards in the design of customer service solutions and in all customer interactions.
Establishes, manages and maintains sound relationships with stakeholders.
Adopts a proactive approach to prevent problems from arising in the future, driving continuous improvement as an important element of service delivery.
Operationalises Sales Strategy Regionally and ensures market penetration, target achievement and profitability for region.
Oversees and trains Area Managers in business and industry best practices to enhance performance and promote the achievement of sales targets. 
Defines Area Sales objectives and targets in line with business sales strategy and targets.
Remains aware of overall business sales strategy including penetration, contracts, new2used and profitability targets, as well as the Mobility2030 strategy. 
Manages and maintains relationships with key external stakeholders, including internal Brand department  and Dealer networks to ensure better value propositions and increased market penetration.
Builds relationships and works closely with internal departments including sales operations, brand, Credit, pricing, support services, external dealers, F&Is and franchises. 
Explores and determines best practice sales processes and opportunities for region to enhance Area Manager performance and sales. 
Reviews data and analyses team, industry and internal/external competitor trends to enhance sales, mitigate concerns and effectively report on relevant data and trends to Head of Sales.
Manages own area and ensures initiatives utilised to achieve targets in line with business standards and processes.  
Manages dealers within own area to drive sales and profits, reviews dealer performance, developments and concerns, and reports on area sales and profits.
Implements the performance contracting and review process within agreed timelines for each team member.
Implements Talent Management practices in line with HR policies and procedures.
Provides direction, coaching, and regular feedback to employees to improve performance.
Identifies training / development needs and pro-actively selects effective solutions to address own and staff development gaps.
Ensures that each employee prepares a personal development plan, and reviews these plans and their implementation.

Minimum requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or Equivalent
